====+ MMOGs Inbound! +====
Boy do I have a treat for everyone. Not one, but two upcoming MMOGs (Massive Multiplayer Online Games) are coming to Xbox.

First up is a State of Decay, a zombie SURVIVAL open world game that is not an online game itself, but is a stepping stone to a full online version to come after. You can finally put those zombie safety plans to work in the dynamic world provided. Encounter randomized NPCs as you scavenge. Set up a colony and have people you save run daily operations such as farming or guard duty. Protect your friends and family from the undead horrors. Or maybe just survive day to day, living location to location. As stated before, this ambitious project is only the first step into a zombie apocalypse MMO that is currently classified as Class4.
RPG elements are utilized as you use various weapons, becoming more and more skilled in a multitude of weapon stypes. NPCs you encounter have unique and living personalities. They can build and populate their own camps or operate your own base once saved. You can even switch control to any NPC if your main character tires or dies.
State of Decay is stated to be released in early 2013.

Next is Defiance, a MMO-Shooter with a lot of Sci-Fi love from Trion Worlds, creator of sleeper hit MMORPG RIFT. Possibly one of the most ambitious projects to ever be conceived in modern gaming, Defiance is not just a game, it is also a TV series to air on Syfy channel on April 15. Certain key events that occur will deal an impact on the show, making it the first true interactive show ever. The TV series is set in St. Lousi, now a refugee camp named "Defiance", Missouri while the game takes place in the San Francisco Bay Area.
